Not being able to see other traffic on my LAN

Open jett948 opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Is there a way to configure the server so it sees all my other local traffic? My end goal is to be able to access my NAS remotely. Currently, I am unable to ping my NAS when connected to the WG server. However, my regular browsing traffic works fine. Please advise if this is possible.

Hi @jett948, let me see if I can understand your scenario.

On your "local" network you have your WG server and your NAS. From the WG server, you can access your NAS fine.

Then on a "remote" network, you connect a client to your WG server. You can browse the internet from the client through your WG server, but you cannot access anything on the server's "local" network. Is that right?

If so, the first place I'd look at is AllowedIPs on the client. See what you're routing through the server. Also ensure that Private Network and NAT Routing are configured correctly on the server.
