app2 is not monitored

It seems like the health of the app2 service is not monitored properly. Even when I stop the container it's running in the consul-ui shows no problems. As a matter of fact I don't see a way for consul to see that problem - it seems like port 8081 is not mentioned anywhere. Am I wrong?
