[ic-date-picker] Improve tertiary button for Month and Year display
Summary
When date picker calendar view is displayed, users could not identify that Month and Year were both Tertiary buttons and could be clicked on to move between large increments.
💬 Description
During Usability Testing all participants didn't easily identify that you could click on Month and Year to display a further list, allowing you to move between larger increments. Only after a further gentle question "Is there another way to change the Month/Year?" did they scan the page again and eventually click on the tertiary button. When they did, it worked as they had hoped. However, because it wasn't immediately obvious they would have missed it.
💰 Use value
Improving this would help users move between large increments of Month / Year and would reduce the number of clicks (compared with if they were using the L/R chevron icons).
