I tried to use the prebuild release but windows defender is detecting a trojan: Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.D2!ml

Windows defender detects almost any binary miner with this trojan. Nothing to be afraid of for this miner. Good news is that you can check the code and build yourself, since this miner is open source.

other miner like nbminer got properly detected as PUA miner.
