Diary Backup cut off
When I export my diary data and then reimport it, I notice that all the entries are cut off after a certain character limit. It doesn't make a difference whether I select everything to export or only the diary data.
Hello, could you mention the length of the entry content and when does it cut off?
It cuts off at the same point that all the entries cut off in the previews before you open the full entry, roughly after around 200 characters. It doesn't matter how long the content of the diary entries are, if the full diary entry doesn't fit in the preview then it gets cut off.
Hi, is there any update on this? I haven't found any other way to backup my data outside of the export feature in the app.
I have also experienced the same issue with the Diary backup+restore function of MyBrain, I only discovered it a few days ago. The restored entries were all cut to exactly 200 characters from the first character (the start of the entry), I've checked that now. It's a serious issue that's resulted in all my saved entries for the last two years being cut short after changing phones and using the backup feature. Please fix this ASAP as until it's fixed my entries since I got my new phone are also at risk. Thanks.
Small update: Changed the extension of the backup file from .json to .txt and opened it up in TextEditor and found that the error was in the backup file also, so it isn't an error with how the app interprets the file.
