Tasks: Recurring tasks don't actual repeat

Open barefootstache opened this issue 10 months ago • 1 comments

Describe the bug When trying to create a recurring task, the task resolves as soon as completed once and does not continue indefinitely.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Tasks
  2. Create a new Task with a Due Date and Recurring every single day
  3. Confirm the task for the first day
  4. On the second day no task anymore

Expected behavior When checking the Recurring checkbox, one would hope that the task would happen for the dedicated interval (in this example daily) until eventually deleted.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Pixel 7
  • OS: GrapheneOS, Android 15
  • App Version: 2.0.4

Additional context If the Due Date was meant to mean repeat the task until the date, then that should be worded better. E.g. Due At 16:00 for daily and Until Date is when it should be stopped.

Hey @barefootstache, can you add more details please? do you mean you don't get notifications after the first one or the due date does not change? Also you do you expect from the app? Create a new task for each recurrence with the new date or one task with it's due date changing after the due date is reached?
