https://github.com/Blockstream/electrs appears to be a big stability improvement, and exposes an HTTP API. Users could choose between Blockstream and services run by Summa, CCG, or Thesis.

We have a couple constants that are incorrect in the dApp now (eg the custodial fee), some of which can be changed via governance. These should come from the chain.
