Error running demo_lightning_simulated on win10

So I get the following error on trying to run the demo notebook.

I thought it might be related to this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47022997/jupyter-the-kernel-appears-to-have-died-it-will-restart-automatically

But it might be a win10 specific thing.

Happy to debug if you tell me what you want me to do.
