Make it work for Rails 3

Running the rake task works for Rails 3 with these (small) changes.

I was lazy, but we can probably add a defined?() for RAILS_ROOT to make it backwards compatible. Just wanted to get this out of the door. This seems to have worked for me (Rails > 3).
