Drag multiple objects

Would it make sense to add the ability to drag multiple element at once?

e.g. after selecting two or more item, it would be possible to drag them all at once.

Possibly, though that would not be particularly easy to implement at this stage.

Hey! Is this something you're still interested in and would consider a PR for? This is a feature that is mandatory for a project I'm working on and I'd rather not maintain a private fork.

I just cobbled up a working solution in my local fork. So if you're interested, we could go over it and I could clean it up, add some docs and tests.
