What problem is this solving?
This is going to be something related to the Jenkins environment - possibly that Excel is installed under a different user than the script is being run uder.
Not much we can do here.
I guess in the adodbapi/examples dir would be a reasonable start?

I can't reproduce this with just desktop. If you follow the instructions in https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/26406#issuecomment-1218564743, you can probably work out whether the problem you see if that desktop is not writing...
