Ubuntu running DavMail in the background

I have DavMail up and running but I can't figure out how to hide it other than installing the server version. Does anyone know a solution?

First, save your configuration with davmail.server=true as ~/.davmail.properties. Then you can add a systemd user service (as ~/.config/systemd/user/davmail.service to start / stop it automatically:

[Unit]
Description=DavMail Exchange Gateway

[Service]
Type=simple
RemainAfterExit=no
ExecStart=/usr/bin/davmail %h/.davmail.properties
[Install]
WantedBy=default.target
