Used Detach on a monitor, unable to reattach in any way.

I pressed the Detach button, not realising what it was there for.

I have not been able to get the computer to even recognise that the monitor exists, let alone attach it.

What exactly does Detach do to a monitor?

What ever it does, please remove it.

Had to connect the monitor to the computer through a different display tech (HDMI as both DP ports were not working) and then factory reset the monitor.

It just remove it from Desktop. You should be able to add it again from System/Display in windows settings.

Tried but nothing was there. Device Manager as well.
