can you retry with `tail -f logs/*` and paste the output? don't see something indicative of the error here...
@chansters does it fail immediately or after some percentage of upload?

That's a good suggestion, and an easy addition that can have a great impact
Create a folder with all email templates, and move existing templates there (as user and media upload related)
Valid point, there are good suggestions on how photos will be treated more properly (eg albums/folders, slideshow/playlist etc)
I realize now that we need some wire frames, or at least UI/UX suggestions before we can handle this
