Cannot detect pandoc

Open pakkinlau opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Reproduction of the issue:

  1. Install the pandoc (and no further actions)
  2. Locate the .bib file (with absolute path)
  3. Obtain the pandoc app location with powershell "Get-command pandoc'
  4. Paste that two strings in setting row 2 and 4.

Update: with path = "...AppData\Local\Pandoc", now the pandoc is detected. But the bib file is still not detected.

I have the same problem, but the updated solution does not solve detection of Pandoc in my case. To be clear, you meant that you forgo pandoc.exe at the end, right @pakkinlau?

Do you by chance have the Pocket integration plugin installed and enabled?

Can the extension rely on a portable version of pandoc, installed inside the obsidian vault? image

Not clear to me whether this works..
