degeneration of neuromuscular junctions

This mutant has degeneration of neuromuscular junctions. I know it is not unique in having degeneration of neuromuscular junctions. I find neurodegeneration and abnormal neuromuscular junctions but I don’t find degeneration of neuromuscular junctions

J:296528 And there are a lot of mutants with neuromuscular degeneration. It might be found under muscle degeneration or neurodegeneration or abnormal neuromuscular synapse morphology (Ighmbp2 alleles, Scn8a, Cacna2d2 alleles, Usp14 alleles) so I’m wondering if the cleanup on this is worth it. also, what defines degeneration of neuromuscular junctions… if the axons show sprouting or there are other abnormal formations in the junctions that is not enough to be degeneration of the neuromuscular junctions so how do you define the term? Does it have to be a breakdown in properly formed neuromuscular junctions or is it adequate to have degeneration of deformed neuromuscular junctions?
