when navigating to http://mydomain.com/wiki it shows the feed there as well as when you navigate to /feed/wiki It would be better to have a designated home page at /wiki/ instead of the feed if that's possible.

I agree! As it exists it's not very user friendly. It's very difficult for people to search/browse and navigate all the articles.
