Audio disappears when on 2x speed after clicking on the screen

Sometimes audio disappears when clicking on the screen or emulator controls while playing a game. The only solution I've found is quitting and reopening the emulator.

Update:

When I have the emulator running at fast forward of 2x speed, the game runs at 2x speed and I hear the audio at 2x speed perfectly fine, but as soon as I click on the emulator screen the audio disappears. Closing and reopening or lowering the speed back to normal 1x brings the audio back.

By clicking on the emulator screen, I mean say while the emulator is running I click on a different window like my browser, then click on the emulator screen to bring it back into focus.

I can't even begin to guess what's wrong here...but your Windows 10 installation is quite old. Try updating it.

Good news, I have figured out exact reproduction steps. Will update the original comment.

This is still an issue and the steps described in the op are correct. Playing on x2 (or higher), clicking in another window and then clicking back on the mGBA window will break the audio.

this issue still exists and seems to be pretty commonin a lot of various emulators
