Multiplayer/Game Link Not working

I was playing Pokemon blue and had a Pokemon that I had to evolve with trade evolution So I opened Pokemon crystal on a multiplayer window and then when I went to the place where you to the NPC where you can trade but it says “This area is reserved for 2 friends who are linked by cable” but doesn't give me an option to trade or battle keep in mind I'm trying to trade a Pokemon from Pk Red To Crystal

This should be already fixed in dev builds. Please grab one from the bottom of the download page and try again.

I reopened this because I tried trading red to crystal. It gave me an option to trade in crystal but not in pk red

Try to use BGB. BGB can link GB(C) games I don't try to use mGBA to link GB(C) games. But I try to use VisualBoyAdvance Liknk version, found it doesn't work.
