The original author seems to have died. Can you continue this project?

I think it's a nice program and deserves continuation, I could try !

Thank you for picking up this project. The functionality is outside of my specialty but I preserved the code so someone can keep it going.

coming via alternative2 > gnuplot (image)

so, @mingodad did you pick it up?

if yes, then please be sure to publish it on https://f-droid.org (i can guide you with that if you want)

I can do it to the extent that I'm using it and if anyone give feedback/suggestion probably improve it as wel.

to be honest, i just think that getting it just working properly, and getting it published on fdroid would be enough. as thereafter, anybody can get it via fdroid straightaway.

as for the feedbacks and improvement stuff, i have been using several maths app via fdroid itself, and none of those is maintained. and almost all of them have some unwanted hurdles in how they work (as they are quite old, many features that are available as standard now, pro'lly weren't available then).

and so, i am always on for a lookout to a better program. and if the fundamentals of this one fit right with me, i will sure be there to provide feedback to improve it in little but impactful ways.

again, i dont know coding yet, so, cant say for there, but yeah, for feedbacks, i can do that.

I'm not sure that you understand that this project creates a command line program with no graphical user interface GUI.

mingodad avatar Jul 13 '22 10:07 mingodad

umh, yeah, i do have xp of working with cli calculators like matlab (or it's FOSS compatible: octave), and i am supposing it would be somewhat similar in fundamentals. or is it smth else?
