[Bug]: Select Search Bar hotkey enters the hotkey character into the search (Fabric)
Steps to Reproduce the Bug
- In inventory, press the hotkey assigned to Select Search Bar
Behavior occurs regardless of key bind.
Expected Behavior
Search bar is focused and clear unless there was a previous search.
Actual Behavior
Search bar is focused and the hotkey is entered as a keystroke (e.g. press f, search is focused with an f entered in the search bar)

I searched issues first and noticed a different issue where you mention installing a separate mod for adding modifiers to Fabric. I'll try that next because it would work better for my workflow and might address this problem, but the default behavior makes it very frustrating to use.

Update: Amecs doesn't seem to work, either for adding modifiers or rectifying the above issue. I can't tell if this is on the JEI or Amecs end.
me too,game version1.21.10,When you press F (to swap items) or Q (to discard items) on the crafting page or backpack page, F or Q will be automatically entered into the search box, which severely impacts the operational experience. You have to hold down Ctrl and double-click F or Q to perform the normal operation. Additionally, regarding the cheat mode in the bottom right corner, it should be activated by holding down Ctrl and left-clicking, but in reality, it can be enabled whether Ctrl is pressed or not. This prevents access to the configuration page that should be opened via a left-click. The issue persists on both the client and server sides, and it's really frustrating. I noticed that someone reported this bug two weeks ago, but it still hasn't been fixed.
