hide the html element

I want to hide the HTML. I make <ng2-flatpickr hidden> </ng2-flatpickr> . It works but when I click it to open, it shows at the top of the page. Not from where it is inserted.

My problem is very similar to https://github.com/mezoistvan/ng2-flatpickr/issues/25 I just want to show the calendar inline (horizontal) with my existing button. Or I want to hide it completely. I couldn't do both properly --- update 1 I set static option to true and now my button and input are horizontally aligned

Has there been any update on this? Looking to solve for a similar issue here but striking out.
