Recently I found out someone has released Al-Azan on google play, while violating this project's license. so I have opened this issue to track that, and any other app that may show up later on google play here.

I strongly advice against downloading from the following URLs.

list:

  • https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.github.meypod.al_huin (included ads, haven't made modified source code available) --- app removed

@Ashraf-Ali-aa wa alaikum assalam as long as you don't violate the license (AGPL 3.0) and don't impersonate the app, It's fine I prefer if you also mention the original source (al-azan) and keep it ad-free, with no tracking and analytics

such app for mosques exist, even though it's source is available, it's license is not fully open source and limits commercial usage also it has analytics and tracking: https://github.com/mawaqit/android-tv-app

@meypod I wanted to share my progress on redesigning the app, here is a preview. I still need to add a countdown feature and the different mosque times.
