Milestones

• [x] A paper and data set on governance within DAOs and digitally-constituted organizations including Optimism, featuring textual analysis of DAO constitutions including Optimism's as well as code analysis of relevant smart contracts. The paper will be shared publicly, e.g. in an open-access repository such as arXiv, and also submitted to a peer-reviewed conference or publication.
• [x] A week-long event at Devconnect Istanbul 2023 (or similar conference) focused on Web3 grants and cross-chain standards, especially as they impact DAOs, highlighting the use-cases with Optimism as well as some of Metagov's existing work with Optimism. This event will target both academics and researchers.
• [ ] An academic workshop as part of DAO NYC in August 2024, bringing together key researchers and builders in the ecosystem to advance ideas and projects in DAOs and Web3.
