Document how to pass variables to Metamorph

It is possible to pass variables from Flux to Metamorph. However, this is not documented properly.

Not sure what you mean. The section flux user guide seem to describe how to propagate variables to metamorph. (Just fixed the link there). It is true, no provided flux-examples make use of this, although I think the description in the wiki is good enough.

I thought it would be helpful if this is explained in the documentation of the parameters of the Metamorph module.
