GitHub link for metacpan packages often not visible even if present

In https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1031849 we see it is extremely hard for certain unlucky users to determine the GitHub link for a metacpan package, even if it does have one.

The largest issue here seems to be that the source view, which is also used for viewing markdown files, doesn't include the same sidebar entries. This will require some changes in the backend to resolve.
