perl is not at the first position when searching for "perl"

I enter "perl" on the main page of https://metacpan.org

The result — I'm on a page https://metacpan.org/search?size=20&q=perl where the perl language is on the second position. On the first position there is a link to https://metacpan.org/dist/POD2-ES/view/lib/POD2/ES/perl.pod

Currently perl has 393 pluses, and POD2::ES has 9. Maybe the search engine should use number of pluses as one of the factor that determines the position of the search result?
