Currently the newest listed release on https://metacpan.org/recent is from 2025-09-30, that is, almost five days old, which is quite unusual.

Upstream issue with Pause and the main rsync server

The people who need to know do know - just a matter of when they get time to resolve it

Probably related: cpanmetadb seems to be ahead of cpan.metacpan.org. For example, the former already lists Time-Piece-1.39 as the latest Time::Piece version, but the mirror does not contain this version. If users have configured cpan.metacpan.org as their mirror then things will fail. Currently reproducible:
