Workaround #878

Harmless Cassandra exception occurs despite "IF NOT EXISTS" statement that causes Cassandra metrics module to not be initialized. After this, Chronos starts leaking file handlers (probably every time a metric has to be pushed) until it starts failing with too many open files error.
