website issue

Hi I am having a problem as to when i send messages through the app i get ticks or a symbol to say it was read. but the big problem is the web interface i can send messages and they do get delivered some times but when i send them they always come up with a ! why is that and also if someone reply's to me i don't get it on the web interface only on my app on my android phone, why would that be Thank you
