Freeze/endless loop on device restart

1. Open the web client
2. Connect to the device via serial
3. Restart the device
4. Observe how the website freezes while your CPU melts ;-)

(for this to pop up you need to close the console)

This is made worse by the fact that the device sometimes restarts when the web client connects to it or whenever it has to reboot because you made changes.

I can confirm this bug still exists, the device must be restarted from within the web app (either through a settings change or otherwise). Resetting the device on the board does not trigger this.
