Since both Apple and the WebUI allow for selecting any channel, without requiring primary, I would say for consistency continue with that. This is useful if sharing a secondary channel to be the primary channel of another node.

i would also love this feature. +1 also maybe the possibility to save the QR code on the phone. i wanted to print out the QR code as a backup this morning and i had to literally take a picture of the screen to print out.

I want to share a channel with friends without them having to manually add it (requiring me to send the encryption key using a clunky cut and paste), or remove all their own channels to accept it. It would ideally check that the modem preset and channel were the same before importing.

In addition to hitachi8 - the save QR code could use a label on the bottom to explain what it contains ... maybe the channel name / list of channels. I have 4 QR codes I saved using the web app, but I don't know which is which.

This is a real hold-up for on-boarding other families and groups who are not tech savvy enough to use the CLI or web flasher for channel management
