[Feature Request]: App should remember to show selected custom map

Feature or improvement you want

User can set custom map by providing URL to tile server of a map. Once he did that, new map shows in map list and user can select and use that custom map. That works fine, at least with tile servers that follow OpenStreetMap tile URL structure.

However users move away from map, like open any other screen in app and then gets back to map, view is reset to show Google map.

App should remember what map was selected and use that map all the time until user changes to other map.

Why should this be added?

If user sets other map he wants to use, app should not force him back to Google map. It should use selected map as long as user does not change to other map, even if app is closed or restarted.

I guess this is not considered. It seems policy is to favor using Google maps.
