[Feature Request]: Auto-delete old messages

Tell us your idea.

When a channel has more than thousand messages, opening it takes a few seconds and new messages appear with significant delay. In active communities this requires manually deleting all history once or twice a week.

I would like to have an option to set per-channel autodelete that removes either:

• messages older than N days
• all but last N messages
