Header not displayed correctly within Safari

Looks as if my header is larger than it should be. Also the link names are not displaying. Not sure what is causing it. I have attached an image. I am loading this within safari. It only seems to be happening in safari. I have also attached an image of what it should look like based on how Chrome loads the page.

Working on a UI refresh, will make sure to test against Safari.

More than half a year later since the last comment and this bug is still there. Is it going to be fixed any time soon?
