Files being uploaded with 0 bytes with Safari on iOS

Hello,

I have a strange issue with ngx-material-file-input on Safari on an iPhone (latest iOS). In fact, Safari simply does not upload the files. Or better said, it uploads them, but with 0 bytes size.

In MacOS, Windows, Linux and Android with Chrome and/or Firefox it works flawless.

As far as I remember, some time (months up to 1 year) ago the issue did not happen.

Is there any known issue or an FAQ which I may have missed regarding iOS and Safari?

I use Angular 9.1.13.
