Wish: Possibility to add an own tile server

I have my own tile server up and running on my web server with some special features. My tile server displays my internal database with some special POIs, and some additional information for my special needs.

It would be great if there was a possibility to add an own custom tile server. The URL syntax is just identical to OpenStreetMap, so it would be enough to have a field to enter a tile server url with x,y,z variables.

I would also appreciate this. The current OSM tiles are barely readable on a phone screen. Also I’d like to be able to see cycle routes using thé Thunderforest Open Cycle Map tile server for example.
