Potential iOS 14.5 map polyline issues

I have recently received a user feedback of this app, privately on twitter, whom the user faced issues that describes incorrect displaying behaviour of the gpx track on random, after updating to iOS 14.5.

According to the user, it also seems to have triggered crashes and caused data loss as well, which may or may not be separate issues about the entirety of the GPS logging process.

User is using the App Store version. Am unable to replicate as of writing.

Having seen screen captures of the scenario, the displayed track goes on and off randomly, and is sort of glitchy. App crash on large files as well.
