restoring from hibernation good now

Just a side comment, I had a situation where after the system had updated the kernel, sometime in early 2020, a restore from hibernation was 50/50 on my x230... Not nice. I wish I remember the forum or person to credit (maybe Ubuntu's), but after some searching, adding the boot parameter for the kernel intel_iommu=off fixed this up; and it's been resuming at about 95% for a few months. The poster also mentioned shutting of virtualization extensions gets the same effect. If anyone can explain the implications of setting this parameter, great. Otherwise I'll close this in a few days.
