Interactive interface should come up with better defaults for extreme cases

We occasionally get stuff like this:

Situations where the samples information has too many layers, the default height of 180 makes things impossible to work with. It is easy to manually fix this for savvy users, but it would probably give a new user a heart attack.

If the height sum of layers in the samples information goes beyond the outermost layer in the circular display, we can set tinier default heights to fit it in that nice area.

What would we do for the phylogram view is not clear to me :p
