Add option to disable http request (and explain what it is)

The app currently always does a request online to some server, but there is no option to disable that, and it's unclear why such a request is done (is it to check for updates? Is it to collect data?).

It would be good to add an option to be able to disable this behavior, as this app is advertised as an offline app. And by adding this option, this will explain to the user what this request is about.

@lrq3000 App only send request for update checking. Adding option to disable update checking is a good idea.
