Is there any option to maintain the properties (widget.xml)?

Defining the widget.xml file can be time-consuming, especially to make a valid one. I would like an editor for that purpose.

Well, we can see if we can validate the widget.xml according to the provided XSD. Other than that, it's not very easy to put this in a generator/editor. We'll see what we can do.
