Add the function of changing the recording frequency with the speed
As I use it for a longer time, I find that a specific recording speed is hard to meet the demand. For example, when I start taking a vehicle after walking, the recording interval will be too large. But if it is set to a faster recording speed, it will cause the recording speed to be too high when getting off the vehicle to walk (or when there is a traffic jam), resulting in unnecessary power consumption. Therefore, if there is a function that changes the recording speed according to the speed, I think it will be very good Practical. However, this function cannot be set by relying on the "Filter by Distance" option. Because if the positioning frequency is very fast, it will still consume power. The purpose of this function is to reduce power consumption. Therefore, I think the recording speed should be changed by speed
The best way to handle this is via a third party automation app like Llama/Tasker. What you can do is set up a profile for walking and for vehicle, then get the automation app to send a command to switch profiles between them. Doing it in the app itself is going to bring too much complexity for maintenance, and also because I've not found the speed to be reliable enough to be able to make a change to recording interval, it's going to cause more maintenance overhead than it solves.
