Summary
From this slack thread. We would like to see the ability to develop SDK based taps for SOAP/XML APIs.
Proposed benefits
This would greatly speed up what is an onerous development process.
Proposal details
It would be great if during the cookiecutter command line setup if a "SOAP API" was an available option next to selecting a "REST API".
Best reasons not to build
This is not a very commonly used API type.
The current work around involves overwriting some of the less commonly altered base functionality provided in the REST API SDK functionality (see comments for example).
