I'm thinking about merging this into a seperate branch, then rewriting our filesystem code, then merging into master. @RSDuck, thoughts? (While you're at it, could you fix merge conflicts?)

#1333 implemented this, so I think this PR and the mentioned issues: https://github.com/Arisotura/melonDS/issues/513, https://github.com/Arisotura/melonDS/issues/338 can all be closed
