DSi homebrew issues
If you run run Twilightmenu++ v20.1.0 via Memory Pit, Twilightmenu++ gets stuck on this screen.
However pressing select and/or select (not sure which) before the screen appears will bring you to the TM++ settings screen, but if you exit that, you will go back to this loading screen.
I tried to use UNLAUNCH.DSI or hbmenu for the BOOT.NDS, but the former brings up the Memory Pit green error screen and the latter brings up a white screen. Trying both of those via file>open brings up the dsi system "error occoured" screen and again a white screen, respectively.
I tried a NAND+SD that has unlaunch installed, that i was using in no$gba, but when i use that, unlaunch says "Empty MBR record". I guess this refers to the SD MBR record. Apparently the sd card images used in melonds are in a different format to the ones used in no$gba?
Hey-- I might be wrong, but I'm almost certain melonDS has no compatibility with Unlaunch and TWiLightMenu++ currently. Here's what I did to play other DSi games.
"Apparently the sd card images used in melonds are in a different format to the ones used in no$gba?" -- melonDS currently uses raw SD card images, without any check over their format. that being said, if unlaunch needs a good MBR, that's good to know.
Update regarding memory pit. As of the latest version of melonDS using the memory pit exploit just gets you stuck on a white screen instead of booting to Twilightmenu++

You got it working? What works and what doesn't?
I got Twilight Launcher ++ (no idea of the capitalisation there) working, and the NAND dump program worked too. But trying to unstall Unlaunch failed because the camera chip identifiers were 00 and FF, probably because there isn't yet camera emulation. (And Twilight Launcher ++ wouldn't load past the splash screen for me in the betterer-camera branch, didn't try booting Unlaunch directly)
There were recent DSi homebrew fixes like Twilightmenu now booting in the latest CI build, and that's why it still doesn't boot in the camera_betterer branch since the commit changes in master are not there yet
