Problems installing Dicaffeine

Open alethux opened this issue 10 months ago • 0 comments

Hello community,

I've been trying to setup Dicaffeine on an OrangePi5 Plus. I am using the latest Debian bookworm image from their website. I followed the Raspberry Pi installation guide and grabbed the yuri2 and dicaffeine packages.

Here is where I currently struggle:

  • the yuri2 package gets installed as it should
  • the dicaffeine package fails due to it no being able to connect to bus (c.f. error message) dicaff-error-msg

As one might see, I am currently trying to install from the /tmp/ folder because I had problems with user permissions. I tried to change them but had no success. I moved the packages so that I could try it from there but also no luck.

I will look further but if someone has run into similar issues maybe someone could give me advice what I am missing.

Thanks in advance
