A user has reported the following issue via hotjar:

I have followed instruction mentioned in doc. But can't start service for some reason. I copied new service config file from different source. Then it worked. Probably something related to new user is making problem

The config file in question is not Meilisearch's config.toml, but likely the service file contained in the code running from L#126 to L#142.

It's hard to be sure what was the problem the user encountered without having access to the two files (ours and the one that worked for the user). Depending on their remote server setup, this could be related to user/group permissions.

In any case, we should do our due diligence and:

1. follow the tutorial in a clean machine and see if we experience any issues
2. ask a colleague from one of the engineering teams to verify our sample service file
