Perhaps we could implement a post-creation wizard page similar to what we have on Reddit.

Maybe to have a static backend for whole site, we can trigger AWS Lambda just to add a resource... so we don't need a server running 24x7.

Controlling contents in this way is not easy, with pull request we have more control on the changes, also we have history for changes as well.
