Bypassing ont and connecting directly to pfsense via GPON SFP

Hi, I was hoping if you have looked into bypassing the HG8045Q and directly connecting with sfp gpon on pfsense?

I have received reports of people configuring other huawei ONTs bought off of aliexpress to connect to the nuro network, but I do not know if a gpon SFP module can at this point in time.

@aki263I'm connecting upon a Nokia G-010S-P module (with openwrt modded firmware) and it works pretty fine. You need some workaround to let OLT recognize it as a legit ONU though
